What is Ok Google? How to Use Ok Google?

I have been using Google for many years now. I use it to find everything from information to directions, and even just to do a quick search of the web. The most recent feature that I have come across is Ok Google. This new feature allows you to ask your phone questions and get an answer without having to open up another app or go into the browser.

Google is a search engine that was created by Google Inc. It is one of the most used search engines in the world. Google has many different features such as maps, news, and many more.

What is Ok Google?

Ok Google is a voice command feature on your Android phone. You can use Ok Google to perform various tasks by just saying ‘Ok Google’. This feature was first introduced in the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, but it was later made available for all devices running on Jelly Bean or higher versions of the operating system.

Google is a voice command system that can be used to perform various tasks. It was developed by Google in the year 2000. The system works on the basis of recognizing spoken words and then performing certain actions based on those words.

The commands are recognized through speech recognition technology and it is not necessary for the user to press any key or click any mouse button while using this system. This makes it very easy for people with disabilities to use this command system as they do not have to take any physical action while using it.

About Ok Google

The only thing about asking your phone questions through Ok Google is that it requires an internet connection because if not then nothing would happen when you asked the question, so if your internet goes down then all hope will be lost because all of those saved searches will still be there on your device waiting for you but they won’t show up until after its reconnected with Wi-Fi again which may take some time depending on how busy the network at the moment is.

Another thing about asking questions through Ok Google is making sure that no one else has access besides yourself because if someone else has access then they may see whatever comes up on their screen instead of yours like in a restaurant where someone might order something embarrassing or maybe worse yet buy something online without knowing what they were going shopping for before hand since they wouldn’t know what product would appear on their screen unless they knew exactly what item they were looking for beforehand otherwise it would look like random letters and numbers instead of words and sentences which could cause confusion among customers who walk into stores thinking its an ATM machine.

The third thing about asking questions through Ok Google is that it can get a little annoying sometimes because you have to say the whole question out loud and then wait for the answer to show up on your screen which can be very frustrating especially if you’re trying to do something quick like look up a recipe or find directions on how to fix a broken appliance.

Another thing about asking questions through Ok Google is that it doesn’t always work well especially in places with bad Wi-Fi connections because when your phone tries to connect with the internet it will use cellular data instead of Wi-Fi which means that you could potentially go over your data plan limit or even worse yet cause your bill to go sky high because of all of those unnecessary searches done by Ok Google.

The last thing about asking questions through Ok Google is that sometimes it just doesn’t work at all and nothing happens when you ask a question even though everything was set up properly so there must be some kind of issue with its software which causes problems for many users who own Pixel phones like me but not everyone has this problem so hopefully an update will come out soon fixing this problem so we can once again use Ok Google as intended without any issues.

How to Use Ok Google?

To start using Ok Google, you need to say ‘Ok Google’ followed by the command you want to perform and then speak your command clearly into your phone microphone.

For example, if you want to search for something on the web just say ‘Ok Google’ followed by a keyword like “weather forecast” or any other search query that comes into your mind and then speak it into your phone microphone. You can also ask questions using this voice command such as “What is the weather today?” or any other question that pops up in your mind while talking with someone else over phone call etc.,

Just say “Ok google, what is the weather today?” and wait for an answer from google assistant which will be spoken back through speaker of your device after clicking on notification bar of android device (if present).

If you don't have notification bar present then click on home button of android device and swipe up from bottom till notification bar appears so that you can see an answer being spoken back through speaker of android device (if present).

My Experience Using Ok Google:

I have used this functionality extensively since its inception in my old Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone running version 4.4 KitKat OS (OS Version) with firmware build number NRD.  My experience has been very positive and I have found it to be a useful feature. It is not only helpful for the visually impaired but also for those with hearing impairment or speech impediment.

It can be used as an alternative to on screen keyboard which is difficult to operate when you are blind/visually impaired in case of typing messages or even using any other application while your hands are occupied with something else like holding something,  It can be used as an alternative to on screen keyboard which is difficult to operate when you are blind/visually impaired in case of typing messages or even using any other application while your hands are occupied with something else like holding something.
