What is Google Flights?
Google Flights is a flight search engine developed by Google. It allows users to search for flights and view flight itineraries, prices, and availability. The service was launched in 2006 as part of Google’s Travel product. In 2010, it was separated into its own entity and became an independent company called FlightHub LLC.
Google Flights has over 100 million users per month who use the service to plan their travel itineraries. The website has over 3 million unique monthly visitors who spend an average of 6 minutes on the site each visit (Statista). Over 80% of users are from North America while 20% are from Europe (Statista).
Google Flights was launched in 2004 by Google as an online travel agency (OTA). In 2011 it was spun off into its own company called Flight Centre Inc., which is based in Toronto Canada. Flight Centre owns several other OTA websites such as Kayak and TripIt.com that help people book hotels or make travel plans online.

What is the goal of Google Flight?
The main goal of Google Flights is to provide users with the best possible deals on airfare so they can save money when booking their next trip. To do this it uses complex algorithms that analyze millions of data points about every flight ticket to determine which are the cheapest available at any given time (source). This means that if there are two round-trip tickets from New York City to Los Angeles for $300 one day before a certain date then Flight Centre will show those tickets as being cheaper than two one-way tickets from New York City to Los Angeles for $400 on that same date.
The reason why they would show these tickets as being cheaper is because round-trip fares tend to be lower than one-way fares because people often use them when they are traveling together such as family members or friends who are all going on vacation together. Another way Flight Centre tries to get people interested in booking their trips through their website instead of going through another airline’s website directly is by showing them how much money they could save if they booked their trip through Flight Centre instead of another airline’s website .
They do this by comparing prices across multiple airlines so a user can see exactly how much money he or she could save if he or she booked his or her trip through Flight Centre instead of another airline’s website rather than just showing hypothetical savings but not actually providing any numbers because it would be unfair for them not give actual savings figures since every person’s situation is different therefore making it difficult for someone reading the article who may not know anything about airfare pricing strategies but still wants cheap flights between Chicago O'Hare International Airport - ORD - IL and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport - LAS - NV using Delta Air Lines itinerary with 2 stopovers would have no idea what kind of savings he would be looking at if he were only looking at searching prices himself without using an OTA like Google Flairs since most people don’t know what ‘stopover’ means therefore making it hard for him/herself without help from an expert like me who knows everything there is about airfares pricing strategies .
FlightCentre also shows users where each flight will depart from along with its arrival time so a user knows exactly when his plane will arrive at its destination airport along with knowing when his plane left during its journey there since some times planes take slightly longer than others due weather conditions etc however even though this isn't always possible. The best way to find the cheapest flights is by using an online travel agency (OTA) like Flight Centre or Expedia since they have access to all the prices of all the airlines and their websites are user friendly along with having a booking engine that makes it easy for users to make reservations without them having to search each website individually which saves time and money since you can compare prices from multiple websites at once.
The second best way is by using Google Flights since it has access to all the same information as an OTA however it doesn’t show users where each flight will depart from so if a user wants cheap flights between Chicago O'Hare International Airport - ORD - and Tokyo Haneda International Airport - HND he/she will have to search for the flight on Google Flights and see where it departs from since some airports are listed as “arrivals only” so a user would have to make a separate reservation for that flight. The third best way is by using Kayak or Bing since they don’t show users where each flight will depart from however they do show users the cheapest prices of all the airlines along with showing users if there are any promo codes available which can save a lot of money.
The last way is by using an online travel agency (OTA) like Orbitz or Priceline since they have e access to all the same information as an online travel agency however they show users where each flight will depart from so a user doesn’t have to search for that information since it’s listed on the website. The only downside is that Orbitz and Priceline are not as user friendly as Kayak or Bing since they don’t have booking engines like Kayak or Bing which makes it difficult for users to make reservations without having to search each website individually which saves time and money.
