01 Weight gain during pregnancy

Expectant mothers usually weigh around 12-15 kilos when pregnant. You can check your weight regularly and update your doctor if there is any major change. The size of the stomach should also increase as the month passes.

2. Feeling healthy is a common sign of pregnancy

It is very important for an expectant mother to be able to distinguish between the signs of a healthy and unhealthy fetus. Some symptoms can lead to serious complications and even miscarriage if left untreated.

However, very few pregnancies end in miscarriage or other complications. But the whole nine months of pregnancy cannot be taken easily by mothers who are sick during pregnancy. If you are a mom to be too, you need to remember or be aware of pregnancy symptoms to stay healthy.

03. Agitation or movement of the baby

After five months of conception the baby starts to move; Fetal movements are termed rapid. A six-month-old fetus responds to sound by moving. After seven months, the fetus begins to respond to stimuli such as sound, pain and light. At the end of eight months, the baby starts kicking more frequently. But at the end of nine months, movement reduced due to lack of space.

04. Normal growth

Your doctor may perform an ultrasound to track your baby's health and growth. Normally, a fetus grows two inches per month. So, by the seventh month, your baby should be 14 inches long. At the end of nine months, a fetus weighs about 3 kilos and is 18-20 inches long.

05. Having a heartbeat

The baby's heart starts beating in the fifth week of pregnancy. To confirm your baby's heartbeat, doctors can usually conduct a non-stress test. The test monitors the baby's heart rate and provides information about possible threats, if there are any problems. A healthy baby's heart rate is usually between 110 and 160 beats per minute.

06. Position the baby properly before delivery

At nine months, there is less movement due to less space. A healthy baby assumes a head-first position and moves down the birth canal.
